Dr.Philip John earned his BDS from Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital, Chennai, Tamilnadu in 2009. Dr Philip worked with his dad for 4 years to get trained in all branches of dentistry and sharpen his practical skills.
Pursuing further education, he completed his specialization in Periodontics from Koorg Institute of Dental sciences, Karnataka a 3-year program. Passionate on the surgical field, he pursued conferences and courses in Implants. He is a member of Indian Dental Assocition and Indian Society For Periodontology.
Dr. Philip worked in Dr Johns Dental Centre mainly as a specialist dentist performing implants, periodontics and minor surgery, supported by his staff in all areas in dentistry.
He believes that a healthy smile always starts on prevention and that is why periodontics is so important. Ideally, periodontal treatment is the way to keep your teeth healthy and, whenever it is not possible anymore, the implants would be, by far, the best replacement treatment.
All his courses helped him not only achieve the knowledge to make healthier smiles but also prettier. As a periodontist specialist and top of the art equipment available in the clinic, he is able to perform plastic gingival surgery in order to correct defections in the gums, like recessions and gummy smile.
A beautiful smile does not come only from nice and white teeth. It needs harmony and healthy and well-designed gums are mandatory for a perfect smile.
